 MAJOR redevelopment of Tamplin Field at Hobartville is underway, promising significantly improved sporting and recreation facilities for the Hawkesbury community. NSW Government spokesperson for Hawkesbury Peter Primrose joined local representatives to mark progress on the project. Plans include an upgraded eight-lane athletics track, sporting field, multi-use courts, improved amenities, playground, fitness station, parking and community spaces. Funded through the NSW Government’s Western Sydney Infrastructure Grants Program, the redevelopment is expected to provide greater opportunities for residents of all ages to participate in sport, recreation and community activities.
