Helping Hands celebrates 15 years
HAWKESBURY’S Helping Hands has celebrated 15 years of supporting vulnerable people across the region. The Windsor-based organisation was established by Linda and Cassidy Strickland, initially preparing meals from home before developing into an important local food-relief service. Hawkesbury MP Robyn Preston joined celebrations marking the milestone and acknowledged the organisation’s contribution to the community. Hawkesbury’s Helping Hands provides food and practical assistance to people experiencing hardship, homelessness and disadvantage. Ms Preston praised the organisation for providing people in difficult circumstances with practical support, compassion and dignity when they need it most.
