$1.6M Scout Hall opens at Kurrajong

A NEW $1.6 million Scout Hall has officially opened at Kurrajong, providing a modern home for local Scouts and a new facility for the wider Hawkesbury community. The NSW Government-funded Hawkesbury District Community Scout Hall was officially opened by Peter Primrose MLC, joined by Scouts, families, volunteers and community representatives. The new facility on Mill Road will become the home of the 1st Grose Vale Scout Group and provide space for weekly meetings, youth activities, leadership development and training. Scouts NSW CEO Karen Twitchett said the investment would create a lasting community legacy. The hall will also be available for use by other community groups, extending its benefits beyond Scouting and providing another place for Hawkesbury residents to meet and connect.
